General Audio-Visual Information
For the Forum and Scientific sessions, each room
will be equipped with a standard AV package:
Forum Sessions (Saturday): a computer/projection system, an overhead projector,
a screen, a flip-chart, and audio amplification (if needed).
Scientific Meeting Sessions (Monday-Wednesday): a computer/projection system, a
35mm slide projector, an overhead projector, a screen, a laser pointer, and
audio amplification (if needed). In addition, a flip-chart will be provided in
the rooms in which the Discussion Sessions during the scientific meeting will be
held.
The computers that will be provided within the session rooms use Windows 2000
and the Office 2000 suite, including PowerPoint. The PowerPoint application will
handle older versions, as well as Macintosh files saved as a 2000 or earlier
version file. Internet access will NOT be available from these computers.
Computer files can be accepted on CD ROMs (preferred), 3.5 floppy and 100 MB Zip
media. Connecting and disconnecting many laptops is problematic, so please bring
your presentation on a CD ROM (preferred), Zip disk, or floppy disk.
Preview Room
A presentation Preview Room will be available in
the MCC (Room 212) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on
Saturday, July 26 – Wednesday, July 30
The Preview Room will include several 35 mm slide
viewers and a computer set-up.
Presenters' Assistance Room
A Presenter's Assistance Room will be available
in the MCC (Room 212) to help with presenters' questions and AV needs for all
sessions. At this time the Presenters' Assistance Room will be open at the
following times:
Saturday, July 26: 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Sunday, July 27: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday, July 28: 9:00 am to 10:00 am & 3:00
pm to 4:00 pm
Tuesday, July 29: 9:00 am to 10:00 am & 3:00
pm to 4:00 pm
Wednesday, July 30: 9:00 am to 10:00 am
