Getting to Mobile

Travel into Mobile directly by flying into the Mobile Regional Airport.  The airport is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown. 

For Shuttle service - call Mobile Bay Transportation for a conference rate of $25.00 Roundtrip.  Service available from the airport to any of the downtown Mobile hotels.  Reservations should be made by calling 800-272-6234.  This will ensure a driver will be waiting for you at the airport upon your arrival.

  Taxis are also available.  

Airport is serviced by Continental Express, Delta, Northwest and US Airways. 

Delta Airlines has been chosen as the official airline of the Botany2003 Conference...                              

Call 800-241-6760, Monday  - Saturday, 8am - 11pm (EST) with questions  or to make reservations.  Use the code 195568A, to get a 10% discount for travel based on published unrestricted round trip coach rates.  Make your reservations 60 days prior to your departure date and receive an additional 5%.  You may also use your travel agent to make your arrangements......be sure to give them the code.

Botany2003 has also contracted with Continental Airlines for special meeting rates.  Call Continental directly 800-468-7022 or make reservations through your travel agent.

Mobile is located approximately 21/2  hours from New Orleans, LA  and 1 hour from Pensacola, FL. 

Trains.....                                        

There is an Amtrak station directly across the street from the Convention Center and the Adam's Mark Hotel.  Make train travel arrangements directly through Amtrak
